Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
1. Introduction
Kivi LTD ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website (kivi.gg), create an account, and use the Kivi platform, including its AI-powered features.
For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is Kivi LTD, a company registered in England and Wales.
2. Data We Collect
We may collect and process the following data about you:
- Account Information: Name and email address provided when you create a Kivi account or sign in.
- Business Content: The websites, pages, products, contacts, bookings, messages and documents you add to your Kivi account in order to run your business.
- Usage Data: Information about how you use the platform, including interactions with Kivi's AI features.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and operating system.
- Billing Data: Subscription and payment status. Card details are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and never touch our servers.
3. AI Processing & Data Usage
Important Notice on AI Interactions:
Kivi includes AI features powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), such as building and editing your website, answering questions about your business data, generating content and images, and an optional AI assistant on your published site. When these features run:
- Your inputs are processed in real time to provide the feature you asked for, and relevant content from your own account is included so the AI can act on your data — and only your data.
- Conversations with the assistant and content it produces are stored securely in our database (Supabase) as part of your account.
- If you enable the visitor-facing assistant on your published site, your visitors' messages are processed the same way and stored against your account so you can follow them up.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contractual Necessity: To provide the Kivi platform and the services you sign up for.
- Legitimate Interests: To secure, improve and support the platform.
- Consent: Where you have explicitly opted in to receive communications from us.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@kivi.gg.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues.
